Winter Update
The year has passed by as quickly as ever and despite a fantastic summer with many events supported by the club such as Up Lyme, Abbey Hill and the local Chickerell Steam fair thoughts move to the darker evenings and what projects can be created in the various sheds, garages and workshops in preparation for 2020.
The winter programme is coming together and for November the following is planned:
Tuesday 12th Nov. Extracts from Great Dorset Steam Fair video from the 50th Anniversary, along with another nostalgic view of our club approx 10 years ago on the previous track around the D&T block at Budmouth. All kinds of locos running around the track.
Tuesday 19th Nov. “Items of interest evening.” Please bring along something of Model Engineering interest. This might be a new bit of manufacturing kit, some new castings or drawings for a new project.
